uLearnIT FileMaker Pro training courses have been designed to meet the needs of people with a diverse range of FileMaker Pro skills and experience, from first time users through to developers. The aim of each course is to increase knowledge, efficiency and productivity with FileMaker Pro while taking full advantage of the latest features. Participants will learn how to build and customise FileMaker files to suit their needs, and use scripts and buttons to automate processes.

FileMaker Pro Courses

Overview		Using FileMaker Pro teaches the basics of using and creating databases in FileMaker Pro. At the completion of this course, you will be able to work with data and records in an existing database, create a new database and create layouts to produce reports. You will receive a comprehensive training manual and a certificate of completion.

Who should attend		People with little or no experience with FileMaker Pro who want to learn how to work with and build simple FileMaker Pro databases.
Pre-requisites		You should be familiar with the MacOS or Windows XP operating system. This course makes no assumptions that you have used FileMaker Pro at any level. Previous experience with a word processor and/or spreadsheet is helpful.

Overview		Building Solutions in FileMaker Pro builds on the skills learned in the Using FileMaker Pro course. Using FileMaker Pro is covered in more depth with a wide range of examples. The course covers topics in building relational database solutions. At the completion of this course, you will be able to create a new database, work with data and records, and create layouts to produce reports. You will receive a comprehensive training manual and a certificate of completion.

Who should attend		Anyone with some experience using FileMaker Pro who wants to learn more about working with, building and modifying FileMaker Pro 8/9 databases.
Pre-requisites		You should be familiar with the MacOS or Windows XP operating system. You should have used FileMaker Pro to create a database, create basic layouts and work with records. Previous experience with a word processor and/or spreadsheet is helpful.

With a brief overview of Instant Web Publishing, the course focuses on Custom Web Publishing using PHP.
